"Groundfault protection of equipment shall be provided for solidly grounded wye electric services of more than 150 volts to ground but not exceeding 600 volts phase-to-phase for each service disconnect rated 1000 amperes or more."
Our service is only 120 volts to ground therefore NEC230.95 does not apply!
You are correct!http://www.geindustrial.com/Newsletter/Spring05Ground.pdf, that spells it out in black and white, ground fault protection test is only needed on service voltage of 260-600volts. I showed the inspector this Letter and he agrees with us, but he is still going to look it up in the California 2010.
who is providing the performance test?
